Why Study with VTU PYQs?
Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs) are one of the most effective tools for VTU semester exam preparation. Studying past papers helps you understand the exam pattern, identify frequently repeated questions, and develop the confidence to attempt all sections within the 3-hour time limit. Many students who score 70+ marks in their SEE exams credit their success to consistent PYQ practice.
Our collection includes question papers from recent VTU examinations across all engineering branches including Computer Science (CSE), Information Science (ISE), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), Electronics and Communication (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics (EEE), and more. All papers are available for free download in PDF format — no sign-up required.
How to Use PYQs Effectively
- Start solving PYQs at least 2 weeks before your exam to identify weak areas early.
- Focus on questions that appear repeatedly across multiple years — these are high-priority topics.
- Practice writing full answers under timed conditions to build exam stamina.
- Compare your answers with module notes to fill knowledge gaps.

About VTU Semester Examinations
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) conducts Semester End Examinations (SEE) twice a year — typically in June/July and December/January. The exam format includes a mix of short-answer, long-answer, and problem-solving questions spread across 5 modules. Each paper carries 100 marks with a 3-hour duration. The passing requirement is a minimum of 40% in both internal assessment and the semester exam combined.
Under the 2022 scheme, VTU follows a 50:50 split between Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and SEE. This means your internal marks contribute equally to your final grade, making consistent preparation throughout the semester essential. Our PYQ collection is aligned with the 2022 scheme syllabus to ensure relevance.
